NBC Pulls Parks and Recreation for 3 Weeks

NBC has announced that Parks and Recreation will be bumped from the schedule for the next 3 weeks. So, for the next 3 Thursdays, beginning on the 24th, do not expect to see Leslie Knope doing Leslie Knope things or the styling Tom Haverford with his new love interest from last week's episode (Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany).

Parks and Recreation will return for back to back episodes on November 14th and 21st. This means the Halloween episode featuring Ben and Leslie as Wesley and Buttercup from The Princess Bride will now air two week after Halloween.  The Election Day episode will now air a week after Election Day.

TVLine reports that The Voice's Battle Rounds will take this Thursday's 8 o'clock hour leaving Sean Saves the World and The Michael J. Fox Show in tact. Next week's Halloween episode is being bumped for a SNL Halloween Special. The following Thursday, Nov. 7th's 8 o'clock hour will again be taken over by The Voice's Live Playoff results show.

AND THAT'S NOT ALL!

After November 21st, Parks and Recreation will not come back until January 9th at 8:30pm. Until then, you can look forward to a mix of football, a live broadcast of The Sound Of Music special thingy, two weeks of The Sing-Off, and an hour-long return of COMMUNITY. Not really complaining about an hour of COMMUNITY, but getting bumped another week still hurts.

Do I need to mention what NBC's coverage of the 2014 Winter Olympics is going to do?
